Breakthrough of the Bolanos tunnel

La UTE Túnel Bolaños (formada por FCC Construcción, Acciona, Cyes Infraestructuras y Construcciones Llorente) ha realizado el cale del 2º túnel de Bolaños, en la Línea de Alta Velocidad Madrid-Galicia.
Los túneles de Bolaños son dos túneles paralelos de vía única, de una longitud de unos 6,7 km cada uno, ejecutados mediante una tuneladora de roca de simple escudo. El diámetro de excavación es 9.900 mm, y las dovelas prefabricadas tienen un espesor de 370 mm. Bridge Technologies ha diseñado las dovelas del túnel, así como el falso túnel situado en los emboquilles.
